my grandmothers teapot
my grandfathers chairs
into a little room
with a little key
where they will curl up close to each other
and get cozy.
I've wrapped up my measuring cups in paper
and stuffed them amongst a box of
clothes that I never wear
and decorative pillows
and carried them upstairs to that little room.
I've piled them high
and set myself free
for a spell.
They are all in a little room
warm and together
and I am in a big big world
a suitcase and my cat.
